Meeting with the United Nations in Guyana

Today, before leaving for TerraWash’s prototype testing in Santa Mission, I had the honour of meeting Jean Kamau (center), the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Guyana, at her office.

Before my visit, I met virtually with her Head of Office, Yuqiong Zhou (on right), to discuss our goals for the prototype testing, what the process would involve, and how we hoped to collaborate with the United Nations as TerraWash expands across Guyana. It was wonderful to continue these conversations in person before travelling to Santa Mission for the testing.

Laurel Seales (on left), who works on the UN’s No One Left Behind initiative, then joined us in Santa Mission to observe how community members interacted with and responded to TerraWash.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to meet with me, learn about TerraWash, and support the project’s future.
